BPCOD /EPCOD articles - when can service eMO be issued?

As per the orders of Directorate, all the COD Parcels received by ePayment enabled Post offices should be handled through Postman module only. They should not be handled in manual process by sending Service Money orders. Service eMO should be issued only in the following three circumstances given below. If need be, the eMO should be issued in favour the Postmaster of the office of payment.

Delivery of articles for which electronic data is not available with delivery officeArticles where COD amount mentioned physically on the article and appearing in electronic data differsSub Post offices where ePayment module is not functioning

In case electronic message in respect COD article is not received, a request for electronic data through resend Parcel COD booking data option is provided in Postman module. The electronic message for COD parcels will be sent by the Server within a maximum of 3 hours from the time of receipt of request from the Post Office provided booking information is available and the article is not already returned to sender by any other office.
